Six months of dysphagia.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Barium swallow

Modality: Fluoroscopy

Narrowing and irregularity with hold-up of contrast noted in the mid thoracic  esophagus.

Endoscopic biopsy confirmed moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma 25 cm from the upper incisors.

Case Discussion

Typical appearance of oesophageal cancer on barium swallow. Pathology confirmed squamous cell carcinoma.
