Presentation

Dysphagia.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female
ct

Concentric mural thickening of the distal thoracic esophagus with upstream dilatation and an air-fluid level. No enlarged thoracic or upper abdominal lymph nodes. No pulmonary nodule or mass. 

Case Discussion

Esophageal cancer proven on endoscopic biopsy. The patient was successfully treated with an Ivor Lewis procedure.
