Large irregular concentric fixed filling defect at the middle third of thoracic oesophagus measuring 5 cm in length, giving apple core appearance and shouldering. It has irregular surface and mainly involving its posterior wall.
Case Discussion
Findings are suggestive of oesophageal carcinoma of the mid-thoracic oesophagus forming irregular stricture with classic presenting symptoms of dysphagia and weight loss. The patient refused endoscopy and further imaging and continued on palliative treatment.
