Soft-tissue attenuation, smoothly marginated ovoid solid mass that arises from left wall of esophagus, displaces the esophagus and narrows its lumen. Punctate calcifications are noted. No signs of invasion.
Case Discussion
This patient has a esophageal leiomyoma. It's a benign tumor of the esophagus.
Diagnostic clue: presence of calcifications within mass is almost pathognomonic for this lesion.
