Increased wall thickness was seen in lower thoracic esophagus, at level of left atrium. Length of involved segment is 34 mm.

Pathology proven case of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. No local invasion, No regional lymphadenopathy, No metastasis.
The incidence of the subtypes shows regional variation and the squamous cell subtype has the greatest worldwide incidence (~90%).
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma staging has important implications for treatment strategy.
