Esophageal strictures secondary to surgical correction of esophageal atresia
Diagnosis almost certain
Presentation
History of esophageal atresia, operated upon. Shortly after weaning started, vomiting of solid food began. No significant obstruction to fluids.

A focal stricture is noted in the upper esophagus at D2/D3 level. A similar stricture is noted at the gastroesophageal junction with dilatation of the esophageal segment in between.
Case Discussion
Esophageal stricture secondary to surgical correction of esophageal atresia, is a known complication to the procedure usually requiring further surgical correction.
