Linear filling defect anteriorly producing a "jet" of contrast at the level of C5. This is in keeping with an oesophageal web.
Key learning points:
- oesophageal webs arise from the anterior wall or are less commonly circumferential
- most commonly occurs within 2cm of cricopharyngeus muscle
- usually only seen when the oesophagus is maximally distended with contrast
