The entirety of the stomach lies in the thoracic cavity anastomosed at the level of the cervical esophagus.
Rugal folds of the stomach and barium coating specs of food debris in the stomach with the gastroduodenal junction at the normal site of the gastro-esophageal junction.
The duodenojejunal flexure lies in the midline.
