Small well corticated bone fragment at the radial aspect base of the third proximal phalanx consistent with an old avulsion fracture at the distal attachment of the MCP joint radial collateral ligament.
Case Discussion
Example of an old collateral ligament avulsion fracture. The cortication of the bone fragment and donor site help differentiate this from an acute fracture.
