A 20 x 35 x 55 mm distended olecranon bursitis with a thick irregular margin associated with surrounding soft tissue edematous changes.

Intact tricpes tendon.

Intact tendons and ligaments of the elbow.

Case Discussion

MRI findings indicated olecranon bursitis, classified into two types: nonseptic olecranon bursitis (resulting from trauma, inflammatory arthropathy, gout, rheumatoid conditions, or in uremic patients) and septic olecranon bursitis.
