Presentation

Fall from balance bike. Brusing around elbow. Reduced range of motion.

Patient Data

Age: 4 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Transverse fracture of the olecranon with elevated anterior and posterior fat-pads surrounding the distal humerus (joint effusion). The capitellum is well formed and the radial head is just starting to ossify. There is no ossificaiton of other ossification centers.
