Focal thickening of omentum is seen in right iliac fossa with significant haziness, heterogeinity and fat stranding suggestive of segmental omental infarction.
Minimal free fluid seen in the pelvis with small, radiologically insignificant multiple mesenteric lymphnodes.
Case Discussion
Noncontrast CT of abdomen reveals minimal ascites with disproportionate fat stranding in anterior omentum at right iliac fossa : findings consistent with segmental omental infarction.
