Patient with known leptomeningeal lymphoma on treatment.

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Subcutaneously placed Ommaya port overlying right frontal bone.

Case Discussion

An Ommaya reservoir consists of a subcutaneously placed port and catheter with a tip in the cerebral ventricular system. It is mainly used for direct administration of chemotherapy in cases of leptomeningeal lymphoproliferative diseases such like lymphoma.
