Presentation

Headache after falling off of a horse and being kicked by it on the head.

Patient Data

Age: 15
Gender: Female

An open skull fracture (right frontal bone, indicated by intracranial air ) and accompanying small subdural haemorrhage adjacent to the fracture. 

Case Discussion

This case shows an open skull fracture (right frontal bone, indicated by intracranial air ) and accompanying small subdural haemorrhage adjacent to the fracture. Control scan after 8 hours showed no change.
