Proximal as well as distal arthropathy with ankylosis and subluxation. Telescoping of the fingers is shown.
Case Discussion
Both psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis can produce arthritis mutilans with characteristic deformities of telescoping. The term la main en lorgnette (opera glass hand) was coined by Marie and Léri in 1913.
