Presentation

Optic disc abnormality.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

US Eyes

ultrasound

There is evidence of bilateral optic nerve drusen: well-defined oval hyperechoic focus at the optic nerve heads bilaterally. On the right this measures 2.2 mm and on the left 2.1 mm.
The retrobulbar optic nerves have normal appearance and are symmetrical in size.
Eyes are otherwise normal.
