There is evidence of marked thickening and enhancement of the left optic nerve with resultant proptosis. The left optic nerve measures 1.6 cm in thickness compared to 0.4 cm on the right.
There is bulging of the mass lesion to the optic disc region.
No significant extension is noted to the cranial fossa.
No enlargement of the bony orbital apex is noted.

The features are typical for optic nerve glioma.
