Optic neuritis

Swelling of the retrobulbar intra-orbital segment of the right optic nerve, extending to the intracranial segment up to the lateral aspect of the optic chiasma with high T2 signal well-visualised on coronal T2 fat sat with enhancement on postcontrast T1 fat sat sequences.
Normal appearance of the left optic nerve.
No demyelinating lesions were seen at infra-or supratentorial levels.
Case Discussion
MRI features are most consistent with optic neuritis.
