There is a well-circumscribed right intra-orbital mass (23 x 19 x 16 mm) of intraconal location in the inferomedial quadrant displacing the optic nerve superiorly and ocular globe anteriorly (proptosis grade I). It elicits an intermediate signal on T1, high signal on T2 and FLAIR with progressive and heterogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. The peripheral pseudocapsule appears of low signal on T2 and GE sequences.
Case Discussion
MRI features are most consistent with an orbital cavernous hemangioma.
