Presentation

Facial trauma and consequent left eye limitation of motion.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Female

Left medial and inferior orbital wall blow-out fracture. Orbital fat and medial and inferior rectus muscles hernia within the fracture gap left side preseptal and lacrimal gland soft tissue swelling, and hemorrhage within the left maxillary and ethmoid sinuses. Shallow orbital cavities.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of the medial orbital wall and floor blow-out fracture with orbital fat, medial rectus muscle, and inferior rectus muscle herniated within the fracture gaps and bilateral shallow orbital cavities more compatible with some orbital findings of Crouzon syndrome.
