Presentation

Left sided scrotal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 22
Gender: Male
Modality: Ultrasound

Enlarged left testis with increased flow on Doppler and minimal peritesticular fluid. Right testis is normal.

Case Discussion

Orchitis is an infection of the testicle, which is rarely isolated, and when in conjunction with the epididymis is called epididymo-orchitis.
