Chronic right shoulder pain

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
X-ray

Right shoulder radiograph shows non-united accessory ossification centre of the acromion process of right scapula.

CT

Axial CT shows straight cleft traversing the acromion process of the right scapula.

Case Discussion

Os acromilale is a normal variant, but can be associated with rotator cuff impingement.
