Os calcaneus secundarius is seen as an accessory ossicle of the anterior calcaneal process.
The otherwise exam is unremarkable.
Case Discussion
The main differential diagnosis is an anterior calcaneus process fracture. It could be difficult to distinguish it from an os calcaneus secundarius, especially if the suspected fracture is subacute or chronic in nature.
