Presentation

Right knee pain and limited extension.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male
mri

Bone marrow edema at the anterior aspect of the proximal tibial epiphysis.

No apparent disruption of the ossification center at the patellar tendon insertion.

Mildly edematous changes at the deep infra-patellar (Hoffa) fat pad.
