Protrusion and fragmentation of the anterior tibial tuberosity, with overlying soft tissue thickening, reflecting chronic Osgood-Schlatter disease.
Thickened soft tissue shadow of infrapatellar tendon, reflecting chronic tendinopathy.
Normal osseous features of both bones of the right leg.
No periosteal or medullary lesions seen.
No fracture line could be detected.
Case Discussion
Features are consistent with Osgood-Schlatter disease, a chronic fatigue injury due to repeated microtrauma at the patellar tendon insertion onto the tibial tuberosity.
