T2 hyperintensity in the central pons with sparing of periphery and signal loss in the ADC maps.

Case Discussion

This patient develop symptoms following rapid correction of serum sodium after severe hyponatremia. This case demonstrates typical pontine MRI signs of osmotic demyelination syndrome.
