Rounded, central low density area in the pons is relatively well demarcated and measures 2.6 cm x 2.2 cm. No evidence of intracranial bleed. No extra-axial hemorrhage. No significant mass effect. Ventricular system and basal cisterns remain within normal limits.
Conclusion: low density change in the pons. Consistent with osmotic demyelination, given the patient's history and presentation.
