Chronic low back pain for assessment

Patient Data

Age: 35
Gender: Female

Sacralization of L5 on the right (fusion of the transverse process and alum of the sacrum) with ossification in the left L5 iliolumbar ligament from the L5 transverse process to the ilium (arrow). Sacroiliac joints are normal.

Case Discussion

This finding is usually incidental and of no significance but can be associated with spondyloarthritis (sero-negative)
