Ossified subperiosteal hematoma - pediatric

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Sports injury with a fracture of the distal right femur 40 days ago.

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Female

In addition to the distal femoral fracture at the metadiaphyseal junction, there is a linear ossification along the femoral shaft in keeping with an ossified subperiosteal hematoma.

Also, there is tibia vara, flattening with decreased thickness of the medial tibial epiphysis, beak-shape appearance of the medial tibial metaphysis and compensatory hypertrophy of the medial femoral in keeping with a Blount disease.
