Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Osteophytes at bilateral sternocostal joint (1st rib). The dimension of the right osteophyte is 10mm long. No evident of other lung pathology.

As evident in this case, a long osteophyte can cause chest pain because it can affect the pleura.
