Osteoblastic metastases from prostate carcinoma

The radiograph shows increased patchy bone density of bony pelvis and lumbar spine s/o osteoblastic metastases from prostatic malignancy.
Case Discussion
Prostatic carcinoma is most common cause of osteoblastic metastases. Other less common being breast carcinoma in (30% of cases), carcinoid tumor and gastric malignancy.
