Osteoblastic spinal metastases from prostate cancer

Status post external beam radiotherapy for prostate cancer. MRI performed for bilateral shoulder and neck pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70
Gender: Male

Disseminated lesions in the lower cervical and upper thoracic spine. The lesions are hypointense on both T2- and T1-weighted images. Some have discrete hyperintense halos on (T2).
