Presentation

History of left knee injury. Currently complaining of pain.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

There is a bony fragment arising from the medial femoral condyle and lying separate to it.

Case Discussion

Appearances demonstrate an osteochondral fragment arising from the medial femoral condyle, consistent with an osteochondritis dissecans. This is thought to be secondary to avascular necrosis.
