Presentation

Hand lacerations? fracture.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Dressings overlie the hand. No acute bony injury identified. Bony protuberance from the ulnar aspect of 2nd proximal phalangeal shaft has features consistent with an osteochondroma.

​No acute bony injury identified. Bony protuberance from the ulnar aspect of 2nd proximal phalangeal shaft has features consistent with an osteochondroma.

Case Discussion

Osteochondromas are not uncommon incidental findings on x-ray.
