Well defined bony over growth arising from the medial aspect of the femoral metaphysis directed away from the joint. The knee joint is normal in appearance.

Typical appearances of a solitary pedunculated osteochondroma at the commonest site in the distal femur. Osteochodromas typically grow away from the joint.
