A sessile bony 'lump' is seen arising from the distal femur. The medullary cavity appears continuous with the rest of the bone. 

CT confirms the presence of a sessile bony 'lump' is seen arising from the distal femur. The medullary cavity appears continuous with the rest of the bone. No thick cartilage cap.
