Swelling in medial aspect of thigh

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

x-ray

There is a pedunculated bony protrusion seen in distal femur on medial aspect with its tip pointing away for the joint. There is sclerosis with lucent area seen in the protrusion and adjacent mild soft tissue prominence.

Solitary exostosis in the femur which is the commonest site for osteochondroma.
