A pedunculated bony mass arising from the anterior aspect of the proximal humeral metaphysis. The medullary cavity, as well as the cortex, are in continuity with those of the parent bone with thinning of the cortex. No fracture or adjacent soft tissue mass. On the ultrasound (not shown) the cartilage cap was 4 mm in thickness.
