Osteochondroma - proximal tibia

Case contributed by Assoc Prof Frank Gaillard

A small bony outgrowth from the anterior metaphysis away from the growth plate is present capped by tissue with chondroid calcification. The medullary cavity of the lesion appears continuous with the underlying bone.

Case Discussion

Features are characteristic of a small anterior projecting osteochondroma.

A potential differential would be Osgood-Schlatter disease
