Presentation

Presented with pain at mid-shaft of tibia.

Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

There is mid-diaphysis anterior tibial intracortical bubbly lytic lesion with a sclerotic band, mild cortical expansion and medullary encroachment. Narrow zone of transition. No periosteal reaction.

Case Discussion

The lesion was biopsied and the diagnosis of osteofibrous dysplasia was confirmed. The patient was discharged with analgesia and a follow-up appointment.
