Presentation

A minor fall and pain in the foot.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years

The foot is osteopaenic with gracile metatarsals, in keeping with the known and established diagnosis of osteogenesis imperfecta.

A fracture is present through the base of the first metatarsus.
