Presentation

Chronic pain of the right wrist mainly during the night.

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

There is a small well-circumscribed lucent lesion measuring 6 mm (nidus) of the hamate bone with a central calcification (sclerotic dot), and surrounding sclerotic reactive bone.
