Small (4 mm) osteolytic lesion in cortical region of the anterior aspect of the tibia at the mid and distal third of the diaphysis. It is accompanied by adjacent cortical hyperostosis and increased density of the medullary canal, this can be probably manifestation of bone edema with discrete adjacent subcutaneous edema.
The findings described are compatible with osteoid osteoma.
