There is a small ovoid well-defined lucent lesion (nidus) centered on the right lamina of T4 measuring (13 mm) with central foci of calcification (central sclerotic dot) and mild surrounding sclerotic reactive bone.
Case Discussion
CT features are most consistent with an osteoid osteoma.
CT is the modality of choice to detect the lucent nidus, the surrounding sclerotic bone +/- the central sclerotic dot. The bone marrow /soft tissue edema are better seen on MRI.
