Case Discussion
Generalized increase in bone density with loss of cortico-medullary differentiation is typical for osteopetrosis. It is a rare hereditary disorder resulting from defective osteoclasts. It leads to weak bones and recurrent fractures.
Differential diagnosis is sclerosing bone dysplasias as pyknodysostosis.
