Presentation

Hysterosalpingography to evaluate permeability of the fallopian tubes.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
X-ray

Hysterosalpingography shows fully distended uterus with contrast material, portions of both fallopian tubes are opacified. Intraperitoneal contrast material spillage from the fallopian tubes is noted.

incidentally noted multiple sclerotic foci in the pelvic bones. 

Case Discussion

Osteopoikilosis is an asymptomatic bony dysplasia of unknown etiology with multiple enostoses. It is a rare hereditary condition found incidentally on plain radiographs. 

The lesions are normally symmetric, numerous, varies in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters, well-defined, homogeneous, and circular or ovoid.
