Presentation
Painful right knee
Patient Data

A horizontal tear of the body of lateral meniscus with meniscal cyst.
Mild effusion.
The examined bone shows multiple variable-sized T1WI and T2WI hypointense foci.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrated a horizontal tear at the body of lateral meniscus with meniscal cyst. Incidentally noted multiple intraosseous lesions that are small in size, discrete and show low signal on T1WI and T2WI, mostly representing osteopoikilosis.
Osteopoikilosis is characterised by multiple benign enostoses. It is usually incidentally found on skeletal x-rays. It is always asymptomatic. The lesions are usually 5-10 mm in size. It is one of the skeletal “don’t touch” lesions.
