Case Discussion

This case demonstrated a horizontal tear at the body of lateral meniscus with meniscal cyst. Incidentally noted multiple intraosseous lesions that are small in size, discrete and show low signal on T1WI and T2WI, mostly representing osteopoikilosis.

Osteopoikilosis is characterized by multiple benign enostoses. It is usually incidentally found on skeletal x-rays. It is always asymptomatic. The lesions are usually 5-10 mm in size. It is one of the skeletal “don’t touch” lesions.
