Twisting injury to left knee with persistent pain.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Multiple small punctate sclerotic lesions with low T1w/PD signal, scattered throughout the included skeleton, both epiphyseal and diaphseal. No cortical abnormality. No periosteal change.

Trace fluid signal in quadriceps tendon, but no acute traumatic findings.


Well defined small sclerotic lesions throughout the skeleton in distribution as seen on MRI.


Similar appearances in the radius, carpal bones and digits.
