Presentation

Severe back pain following fall on the floor.

Patient Data

Age: 59 years

Coarse trabecular pattern of the examined bones reflecting osteoporotic texture. Remarkable decrease height of D12 vertebral body.

Bone mineral density measurements taken from the lumbar spine and left femoral head show osteopenia.

Structural collapse and decreased height of T12. It shows a deformed appearance & posterior retropulsion. The posterior retropulsion tightens the spinal canal at that level. Relative reduction of height with depressed upper VEP of T10. Osteoporotic pattern of the examined bones.

Structural collapse and decreased height of T12. It shows a deformed appearance & posterior retropulsion. The posterior retropulsion indents the related ventral related aspect of the spinal cord and tightens the spinal canal at that level. Osseous hemangioma of T8.
